DAVU Studio created the visual campaign for the latest jewellery collection by Sudanese jewellery brand Ashrenkail.
We conceptualised the campaign, which focused on beautiful images on a pastel palette, exemplifying the sensuality of the silver pieces which were inspired by Sudanese songs. The DAVU Studio team is proud at the success of this visual campaign as 5 out of the 9-piece collection were sold out within the first week of the campaign launch.

For this Salute Yal Banoot music video, DAVU Studio was behind the fashion styling.
The moody song speaks of unrequited love and as the setting was a dark jazz club, the wardrobe featured all shades of red, ranging from light to dark, with gold toned accessories to accent each of the band’s members.

In December 2019, DAVU Studio creative directed and styled this editorial, which was shot on film. Published in Picton Magazine (Issue 376), in an issue that celebrated Black bodies, the entire photoshoot was based on vintage and secondhand fashion.
The concept behind this shoot was to showcase how secondhand, thrifted and vintage clothing are not just sustainable for the environment or an affordable choice to many, rather that they should be taken seriously as a major contributor to the fashion industry, which has become saturated with “fast fashion” and mass production in countries that pay no mind to the unethical labour standards – be it people’s safety and/or payment.

DAVU Studio was responsible for the concept creation & creative direction of this TVC, produced by Sudan Film Factory.
The 30 seconds TVC for Al Nile Bank in Sudan, was initially created to further promote the #TalkToTheGM campaign on the Bank’s social media platforms. With its online success, it moved to TV and the voice over was subsequently used in the Radio campaign.
The video focuses on the General Manager, following him along as he completes his daily activities across the main branch – showing him as accessible and furthering the message of transparency.

We worked on this TAP Magazine production, to create the “Runifesto” campaign for Africa’s first running shoe company Enda – based in Nairobi, Kenya. Along with the TAP team, we developed the concept and storyboard, location scouting, art direction and wardrobe.
This TVC was directed by our creative director Hadeel Osman.
This fast-paced commercial was intended to show what makes Enda standout and that there is indeed space in the international sportswear market for an African brand to succeed.

This editorial was inspired by the headpiece, designed by DAVU Studio’s creative director Hadeel Osman, who was exploring the use of raw, everyday materials to make eccentric accessories. In this case, the headpiece was made using a traditional Kenyan broom and twine string.
We are proud to announce that the above photo was selected by PhotoVogue, Vogue Italia’s photography platform. A great feat for our team, as we continue to explore new avenues of fashion photography and art direction as a whole.
